Christie Lake Conservation 

Christie is known for its Vintage Show and Christine Antique that happens twice a year. All throughout the summer, there are a lot of non-shopping events to explore such as disc golf. Bikers and hikers are in their happy place here since it has over 10 kilometers trail through meadows and forests that are filled with pine trees. If you are more inclined to water activities, you can rent a kayak or canoe onsite and enjoy to the fullest.  

Binbrook Conservation Area 

Being bored is never an option in this area. This wonderful man-made lake has so much to offer, from walking trails to wildlife spotting. You must not leave without experiencing the trendiest attractions such as Treetop Trekking Hamilton, Boarder Pass Wakeboarding, and go to an adventure park with aerial games and zip line.  


Confederation Beach Park 

The Confederation Beach Park is situated on the shores of Lake Ontario where you will discover some of the place’s best fun and food over the year. There is a lot of park space for games, sports, and other escapades. Do everything with your family and friends at any of the outdoor activities. You can choose from mini-golf, batting cages, Wild Waterworks, and go-karts, to restaurants such as Baranga’s on the Beach and Hutch’s. Moreover, there is the Lakeland Center that has banquet halls, basketball and volleyball courts, and a splash pad. 



Fifty Point Conservation Area 

This conservation area is an 80-hectare park that can be found on Lake Ontario close to Stoney Creek. This park is known to birdwatchers since this is the main spot for them to observe waterfowl. Moreover, boaters love Fifty Point because of its storage and marina facilities. This place is considered as reel-friendly for those who love fishing. You could possibly get a salmon whopper, then catch a trout in the stocked pond without the need of a license. Walk along the seaside to take a picture of you and your family in front of an Instagram-worthy location like the Fifty Point Lighthouse and post it on social media to share it with your friends. Visitors can definitely pull off a day of enjoyment and fun with never-ending possibilities at Fifty Point Conservation area.  


Valens Lake 

Valens Conservation Area has 225 cabin and campsites to rent. You can devote your entire day fishing in the reservoirs for species such as smallmouth bass and Northern pike or you can swim in the lake. You can also choose to climb the observation tower, discover and take pictures on the 300-meter boardwalk, or do a 10-kilometer walk. Also, you must try a local food truck starting from the month of May to Labor Day, which appears to feed the famished visitors.
